Clinical studies below demonstrate extraordinary effectiveness of Enluxtra Self-Adaptive Wound Dressing applications in patients with non-healing venous ulcers, especially heavily draining ones.

Self-Adaptive dressing effectively manages ANY amount of wound drainage and prevents exudate leakage while protecting the peri-wound skin from maceration.

Case study: Radiation burn
Enluxtra™ Self-Adaptive Wound Dressing Clinical Results

The patient is an 80-year-old female, non-ambulatory. Co-morbidities: hypertension, chronic kidney disease, neurofibromatosis, hyperlipidemia, osteoporosis, glaucoma, GERD, anemia, urinary incontinence.

Wound and previous treatment:
A radiation burn of the right buttock started during the 4th week of the patient’s radiation treatment. No previous wound treatment was administered.

Enluxtra treatment:

Conclusions and clinical outcome:
Enluxtra applications on this radiation burn rapidly reduced the wound size and provided non-medicated pain relief which resulted in reduced dosage of pain medication and decreased discomfort for this patient. Enluxtra used for burns (as well as wounds of other etiologies) also improves the appearance of healed scars.
