What happened there
Our booth has drawn a lot of attention – and not because of its flashy design, we only had a simple table this time.
What attracted the visitors were case studies continuously displayed on our computer monitors: wounds treated with Enluxtra and finally healing after months and years of failed treatments with other products.
Do you know what Enluxtra can do?
We are happy to report that Enluxtra brand is widely recognized among the US practitioners.
Our Clinical Director Vicki Fischenich admits however, that many are still unaware of broad application spectrum of Enluxtra dressings that can help manage a wide variety of wounds of any etiology, stage and draining level: from dry to copiously draining, from those undergoing negative pressure therapy to skin graft related applications - and anything in-between.
The confusion may arise from the CMS-Medicare putting Enluxtra in the reimbursement category of "alginates and other gelling fibers". It is the last part of this category’s title — “OTHER GELLING FIBERS” — that makes a whole lot of difference in describing what Enluxtra can do.
The good news is — clinicians who have experienced success with Enluxtra treatment for draining wounds are open to trying it on other types of wounds as well. And you should, too!
Is Enluxtra expensive? Absolutely not!
We have noticed that sometimes an impression is created about Enluxtra as an expensive brand – a misconception we are always ready to disprove. Enluxtra is in the mid-range of current advanced wound dressing prices. It is generally more expensive than simple foam dressings, but significantly less costly than advanced foam dressings and silver-containing, collagen, hydroconductive, and other products. The moderate price of Enluxtra dressings and their nearly 100% utilization led to reduction of total monthly spending on primary wound dressings upwards of 30% during the standardization study at the clinic compared to
baseline spending before the study.
This spending reduction is estimated to provide the clinic with more than $40,000 annual savings on primary dressings ONLY, not to mention shorter healing times and reduced consumption of expensive topical products.
Enluxtra has been proven to work and bring significant savings in thousands of cases where other treatments were ineffective.
Is Enluxtra for you?
The absolute majority of our visitor indicated that the wound images we were showing actively reminded them of their patients’ wounds. This certainly creates a mental link between the wounds clinicians encounter in their daily practice and similar wounds that have been successfully healed with Enluxtra dressings. It makes you realize that the same wounds that resist treatment with other products may finally budge with Enluxtra applications.
